Ted Gray

Co-Founder of the CROP Organization

Ted initiated and co-developed the Inside Solutions Program, where high-achieving long-term offenders could receive the specialized educations needed to earn Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) certifications. Ted directed the inside components to make efficient use of outside resources. Ted holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Care Administration and is currently working on his Master’s in Organizational Leadership. This unique education is buttressed by a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC II), which is an advanced certification, in addition to being a highly-skilled transformational coach.


Richard Mireles

Co-Founder of the Inside Solutions

Mireles is a co-founder of the Inside Solutions program. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and holds a CADC II. Richard worked tirelessly on the coordination of inside and outside resources, which requires unending commitment to detail and diligence. Due to his multi-systemic contributions to Inside Solutions and CROP’s mission, Richard was found suitable for parole and is scheduled for release in early 2019. He will parole to Sacramento and work with CROP and other social justice organizations to advocate for the system impacted.


Eugene Dey

Eugene is a co-founder and co-developer of the Inside Solutions Program. He was also formerly incarcerated. While inside, Eugene worked with his fellow inmates to develop a treatment platform to take a primary role in their transformation. Eugene holds a BA in Sociology from California State University, Sacramento (CSUS), also has a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CACD II), an advanced certification, and a Forensic Addiction Counselor (FAC), a specialty certification. He continues to support his fellow Inside Solutions co-founders. Eugene lives in Sacramento with his wife and children.
