Stanley Perryman

Stanley is CROP’s first success story. After serving 25 years in prison, he had just completed his internship work with Inside Solutions. He was then released on May of 2014, into a 6 month in-patient reentry program at Health Right 360. Stanley continued doing the curriculum work while working part time in order to complete his state certification to be an AOD counselor. CROP continued to offer him support along the way. He passed the Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor (CATC) exam in the summer of 2014. Stanley was hired in February of 2015 as a certified AOD counselor at American Health Services in Los Angeles County. Stan is engaged to be married and very grateful for a chance to work as a counselor and help others.

Wade Taylor

While incarcerated at another facility, Wade had established a counseling program similar to Inside Solutions. This type of self-starter is an ideal candidate for the type of work CROP is doing and Wade quickly became a lead student in our program. He earned a number of degrees and is currently working on a Bachelor’s. He is also a tireless servant in the social-community model and has been instrumental in his role in the college program. Wade is CROP’s first AOD counselor to go before the Board of Parole Hearings and he has been found suitable for parole. Upon release, he will begin the next phase of his life in a reentry program in Los Angeles County.
